Additional learning programs are provided so that every child can experience on-going success at their own pace giving each student the opportunity to develop to their full potential. Individualised learning programs are developed in consultation with outside agencies, family and the student. Programs are continually adjusted to the learning need of the student to continue progress and success.
English as an Additional Language (EAL) students require additional support to assist them in developing their proficiency in English.
At St Bernadette’s this is provided one on one and in small groups in consultation with our EAL team in Catholic Education. The dignity of each student is respected and learning processes are inclusive, formative, challenging and engaging.
